Carly Feins - Homestead Baker, Cake Decorator, Artist

I'm Carly Feins, owner and operator of Carly's Custom Cakes. I'm a Homestead bakery out of my residence in Bedford, New Hampshire, and I make customized cakes on order. I also do cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.
I have my Bachelor's of Science in Baking and Pastry Arts/Food Service management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, Class of 2019.
I discovered my passion for baking when I was 11 years old. I was in my first Home Ec class and we made snickerdoodles. Around that same time, my Aunt Lisa Raffael (owner of Delicious Desserts in East Falmouth, Cape Cod), won Food Network Challenge. I fell in love with the baking and pastry arts ever since.
As a neurodivergent woman, I understand how tough it is for other adults with similar diagnoses to get and keep fulfilling employment. I want to advocate for workers with these forms of diversity by showing people that we are hidden gemstone workers that are more than worth employing, and we deserve the same opportunities and respect as anyone else.
Which is why I have this home bakery, to prove that I can do just that.
I like making my own vanilla extract, and I also like making some of my other ingredients from scratch, too. I'm the type of baker to keep my treats simples while being unconventional with how I use my ingredients.
Desserts are my canvas, and I'm in the business of creating art pieces that you can eat! Order online today!
